my favorite ai prompt (feel free to steal it)

Yo fellow Ark Members.

Quick tip today since I'm currently in the final sprint to finish my next course, The Content OS.

I'm very happy with the system I've built so far and I can't wait to present it to y'all next week.

But let's get back to today's quick tip:

My favorite AI Prompt.

It's one that I use for almost every session when working on new project or new task with my agent.

It's only one sentence, but it's more effective than 10 paragraph long prompt.

So no more teasing, here it is:

After asking your AI to do some task for you like the lazy mf that you (and we) are...

Say this:

"Evaluate your confidence level on a scale of 1/10 to achieve this task. Then ask me questions to get to a 10/10 confidence level"

That's it.

I love this prompt because it forces the AI, and you, to achieve perfect clarity on the task you want to do.

And clarity is the n°1 most important thing to do great work in any project.

You probably have a clear picture in mind for how you want the task to be when it's finished, but it's probable that your initial prompt was missing a lot of key elements to make the AI understand it completely.

So when you ask this prompt, the AI will actually ask you question that will force you to gain even more clarity on the task, and in the process, make you smarter, which will ultimately lead to better results with your prompt.

So next time you're working with your agent on any task...

Whether it's your next piece of content, your next product, or whatever...

Use this prompt.

You'll see how powerful it is.

Another benefit of this prompt is that it allows you to start your session with a very simple prompt.

If you don't where to start, just tell the AI, "I want you to help me do X task. Evaluate your confidence level on a scale of 1/10 to achieve it and ask me questions to get to 10/10 confidence level".

And from there the AI will help you clarify the task and the desired outcome and everything.

I believe that asking AI to ask you question is the most valuable way to use it, instead of blindly tell it to do things for you without being active at all.

This prompt reverses it by making you active and forcing you to think things more thoroughly.

Anyway I'll stop glazing this prompt for now and get back on working on the Content OS.
